When a new baby is born into the family, some elder brothers and sisters have a tendency to get envious.
While those childlike emotions might be endearing, Ali Retelle’s video of her son and his newborn daughter’s first meeting is something else entirely.
The small kid can be seen cradling his infant sister in his arms in the emotional video. He couldn’t take his gaze away from her little face as she made small arm motions, and when he eventually lifted his head, his parents noticed that he was crying.
The youngster couldn’t help but cry as he cherished his sister’s presence, apparently overwhelmed by all the feelings of happiness, love, and amazement he was experiencing.
The youngster brushed his tears away with his sweater sleeve and returned his gaze to his sister, who had suddenly let out a little hiccup.
His mom said, “You can talk to her.”
“She can’t talk back, but she knows what you’re saying,” his dad added.
“You can say whatever you want to her,” said mom.
The child, on the other hand, didn’t appear to have the words to explain his feelings. So he simply grinned and hugged his sister tightly.
No one knows what the toddler was thinking at the time, but it’s evident that he adores his little brother or sister from the moment they met. From the looks of it, he’ll be a fantastic big brother!
