To my kids…
If I had to choose between loving you and breathing, I would tell you I love you with my last breath.
A parent’s love is undeniably unconditional. Like the quote from Jessica Lange stated on motherhood “The natural state of motherhood is unselfishness. When you become a mother, you are no longer the center of your own universe. You relinquish that position to your children.” She would sooner die than compromise her love for her children, even if it means her own life.
The love a mother has for her children is unwavering.
She may not always be the most brilliant person, say the right or proper things, or dress up the fanciest all the time, but she consistently shows up for her child in surprising ways.
Even when her child is an adult, she still shows concern and care.
It’s a heart-to-heart and soul-to-soul connection that has stood the test of time.
I don’t ever want you to forget how much I love you!
Parents don’t always express their thoughts openly; instead, they presume that their children are aware of their affections for them.
However, when there are misunderstandings and things are left unsaid, it might cause unnecessary doubts and insecurities.
I don’t want you to ever feel insecure, and I want you to remember what I’m saying right now because it’ll always be vital and never change….
You’re the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. Nothing pleases me more than seeing your smile, and nothing pleases me more than hearing your laugh.
I’m proud of the person you’ve grown into.
And, no matter what occurs in your life, I have faith in your capacity to make the best decisions possible.
I love you to the moon and back!
